| Description | Current root nodes are: Tracks Playlists Genres Artists Albums on some devices only the first three items are visible and other nodes are hidden under "More" button. Some users prefer other nodes on first three position than Tracks, Playlists, Genres, so it would be nice to have optional order. | ||||

Ticket #1927 The user from this ticket wants Artists at one of the first three positions. I suggest swapping Genres for Artists to the next 1.4.X build and implement customization later to 2.1.x version. |

According to 0018008:0072101 using the same nodes and ordering as in the home screen. Added new option in Options/Playback/Remote controls: Use customized home screen nodes The same nodes from the Home screen will be used for browsing in remote clients. Fixed in build 2.0.0.1087 |

Suggested text: Customize navigation for external apps Use the home screen's hierarchy for browsing over bluetooth or Android Auto I suggest that this should be disabled by default since: - custom nodes are a Pro-only feature - the default home screen nodes will be overkill/too complex for Android Auto (I suspect that most users will want a subset of what they have configured on the home screen to display in AA). |

Tested 1087 and it generally works well. A couple of issues though: 1) The Genres icon appears in Black 2) Some nodes won't display. e.g. Years, Ratings, Folders 3) If Tracks is disabled, it breaks MMA on Android Auto because 'Resume Playback' isn't accessible. Perhaps this node should be force-enabled (at least with the current Resume Playback design)? I've moved the issue below to 0018008 4) Podcasts only has Play all / Play all (shuffled) functions for each 'Album'. This doesn't really help the most common usecases which involve resuming playback from the middle of a podcast series / book, and in which users want to: - be able to see where they are in the book/podcast (i.e. a list of the tracks is needed) - to listen from the last played track (i.e. some sort of bookmarking indicator is needed, and/or a 'Resume from last position' button) |

Verified issue 1). And re-opened issue 3) in a new bug 0020065 since the fix in build 1090 is confusing. |
