Summary | 0001851: Enable volume leveling for iPod
Description | Two possible approaches: a) convert Replay Gain values to Soundcheck entries (in the iPod db only?) b) actually modify the volume of all supported tracks via MP3Gain (covered in another bug). I think that a) is a much preferred approach since it applies to all formats on the iPod and since it probably is easy to implement (hopefully it's just a question of converting replay gain values and exporting them to the iPod DB).

Actually I forgot to mention that this is already implemented as a). I.e. while tracks are written to the device, iPod DB is automatically populated with ReplayGain values from MM converted to SoundCheck values. So the only thing to do in order to enjoy leveled tracks is to enable SoundCheck on iPod (in its menu). |
