| Description | If the user has Background Metadata Lookup enabled, and is unhappy with the recommended Artwork/Lyrics, they'll delete the Artwork/Lyrics. BUT, in some cases MM re-downloads the same problematic Artwork/Lyrics! e.g. 1) For Lyrics: 0 Enable Background Metadata Lookup for Artwork/Lyrics (I tested with 'Update Tags' disabled) 1 Set Preview to 'Selected' OR 'Playing' 2 Right-Click on the Preview Window > Properties 3 On the Lyrics Tab, delete the looked up lyrics and click 'OK' --> Lyrics are deleted and then immediately looked up again! Note: - if the user enables 'Allow Edits' in the Preview window and deletes the Lyrics there, then the bug doesn't occur--the lyrics aren't re-looked up. - this is particularly annoying for instrumental versions of a track 2) For Album Art: 0 Enable Background Metadata Lookup for Artwork/Lyrics (only occurs if 'Update Tags' is enabled) 1 Set Preview to 'Selected' OR 'Playing' 2 Right-Click on the Preview Window > Properties 3 On the Artwork Tab, delete the looked up Artwork and click 'OK' OR in the Preview Window, click 'Remove Image' --> Artwork remains in the Preview window! (it appears to have been re-looked up very quickly) Note: -The problem with Artwork is slightly different than with Lyrics as it only occurs if the user has enabled the Background Metadata Lookup:Update Tags option for artwork (since for Lyrics 'Unsaved lyrics' can be deleted, but for Artwork 'Unsaved Artwork' can't be deleted--it can only be 'Saved' or replaced via 'Lookup Image...'). In both cases, if the user has manually deleted Lyrics/Artwork, MM shouldn't automatically look it up again. | ||||

Setting as fixed in 2617. Artwork part will be implemented as 0018399 later, it seems to be more complex and probably with need to make changes to DB, so postponed as risky to 5.0.4. |

Verified on 2618. After deleting auto-looked-up Lyrics Preview will show Lookup instead of Lyrics. |
