Summary | 0001872: When creating a second device, a duplicate of the first device appears.
Description | I've only tried this once, but here's what happened: -Configure iPod device (Rusty's iPod (F:)) and synch music -Configure USB Mass Storage device (Test Drive (Z:)) and synch different set of music --> in the MM tree, 'Rusty's iPod (Z:)' appears and underneath 'Test Drive (Z:)' appears! Moreover, when I attempt to synch the Test Drive, it works but after doing so the first time, the Synchronization Device switches back to the iPod (so if I try to synch again, it synchs the iPod)!

Fixed in build 853. - The problem was more complex. I rewrote drive detection routines in all plug-ins based on new method of matching USB device and drive letter I found. This method should work 100% well on Win 2000 and Win XP without even needing Admin account. On older OS version such results can't be guaranteed because I don't know any safe method. |
