Summary | 0018774: Empty parent playlists fail to sync via USB (regression MMA)
Description | Setup a new playlist (empty) with a new playlist nested under it with 1 file and selected both for Sync. Neither shows on device after Sync. A similar instance of this may be: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=101217
Steps To Reproduce | 1 Create new Playlist 2 Create new Playlist as child Playlist of first Playlist 3 Add 1 file to child Playlist (none were added to parent Playlist) 4 Enable both new Playlists to be Synced 5 Start USB Sync --> Expect both Playlists on device, but neither syncs (3 attempts) If the parent Playlist does have a media file on it, USB Sync successfully Syncs it, so it seems to fail with no media files on the parent Playlist. (Sync also suggest a bunch of files to Sync Device > PC, but all these files were Synced by MMW and still in MMW).

I can confirm the issue, although the empty Parent is correctly written to mmstore.db.synced MMA does not process it correctly and throws it away (during processing of mmstore.db.synced uploaded by MM5). So it seems a regression in MMA (tested 1.4.5.0960), assigned to Martin to look into it. |

Should be already fixed in 2.0.0.1014 |

Verified 1015 Empty playlists are created. |
