Summary | 0001885: Need hints for device related tasks
Description | There are hints missing in 'Safely remove device' and 'Rebuild device database'. They should be added. Also, we aren't 100% consistent in usage of 'database' and 'library' words for devices.

Not sure I understand. -No context menus have hints!! (or at least they don't work on the 2 machines I test with) -Database and Library do seem to be used consistently to me: Device Database is consistently used to describe the database of a device. Library is consistently used to describe the MM library. Please correct me if I'm mistaken... |

1. Ok, context menu don't, so for Rebuild command hint isn't needed, but Eject device is now shown in toolbar (when iPod is connected) and so a hint should be shown there. 2. If you allow filesystem browsing in iPod or connect iRiver, there is 'Device Library' node shown, which isn't consistent with the rest of UI. Should it be 'Device Database'? I don't know, doesn't seem to be the best option to me, but maybe it is. |

1. Here's a hint 'Terminates connection between the device and your PC so that you can safely disconnect the device.' 2. You're right; 'Device Database' would be more consistent (and I don't think it's really a problem). |
