| Description | The Lyrics tab is dead. ie. the tab that can be added to the left or right panels. I can see the lyrics in the Track Properties dbox. I can see the lyrics if I enable that tag in Preview Advanced view. But the Lyrics tab is always empty. BTW adding the lyrics to the Advanced View of the Preview tab is OK, but the lyrics always are displayed over the top of the album art, which is why the Lyrics tab remains important. This from the forum today: "another thing I don't like is the pictures or album covers are behind the lyrics panel. I don't like the overlap." | ||||

Update: I had the font size in the Advanced View of the Preview panel ... when I alter this, the lyrics do not overlay the lyrics. ... so that is working OK I think. But the Lyrics panel is still dead. |

My error. Sorry. I assumed that the purpose of the Lyrics tab was to display lyrics of the Selected track, ie. to overcome the over-writing issue mention above, so that a person could have the Preview tab on the right, and the Lyrics on the left.. I see now that its purpose is to show Lyrics for the Playing track, not the Selected track. It works as designed. It is crappy that the art overlays the lyrics . it would be better if lyrics and art each had their own inner panel within the Preview tab, with scroll bar. But that is another issue, so feel free to close this incident report. |
