Tooltip should not be shown if the text is fully visible, but only if it is partially displayed. MM 2822. |

It is sometimes the same in MM4. Precise detection of end of each text is not worth the effort and would add additional load and/or HTML complexity (I would need to add additional element for each text), nobody had problem with this in MM4, so I think it is really not needed in MM5 too.

No, you are wrong I just tried both MM4 and Windows Explorer and they don't show tooltips for fully visible text. |

It is not always. But as I said, in MM5 it would complicate things and it is not worth it. |

The current behavior is especially irritating for the items in the Media Tree, the tooltip shows for each item even when it has fully visible text. Could you please revert back the previous behavior? It was better then it is now. |

Well. I just tried several older versions and they all have the same problem, so it was not introduced with this "fix". I will open a new issue about it. |

Closing issue is handled in different bug # |
