Description | When installing a clean portable version of MM and importing data from an existing instance of MM: --> The music collection is missing an icon (when importing from MM portable) 1 Clean Portable install of MM 5.0.4 2 Import settings via 'Select Folder' 3 Browse to /Portable Apps/MediaMonkey 5/Portable and click 'OK' to import the settings --> the process proceeds --> then the Firewall dialog opens on top of the Elevation dialog 4 Click OK to the firewall dialog and then to the elevation dialog --> MM displays without an icon for the Music collection! Note: - The original instance of MM 5.0.4 portable still has the Music collection icon - The problem with the Music icon doesn't occur when importing data from MM5 (regular) into MM Portable | ||||

I can confirm that custom icons are not imported properly. |

Another issue I found with the [Select folder] is that you need to select [MM install folder]\Portable\ which many users might not realize. Therefore I changed it so that it is enough to select just [MM install folder] and the Portable folder is automatically looked up. => Fixed in 2682 |
