I was able to replicate this with build 1063 but I'm not sure of the exact repro steps. It was a combination of: - editing the rating in the properties dialog - editing the rating on Playing > Art - sliding the seekbar --> The seekbar advanced, but the time indicators froze (I think or maybe vice versa) --> At the end of the track there was no sound. Clicking 'Next' had no effect and MMA crashed. I generated the following Debug log on restart of MMA (a phone restart was not required): I81WQ2RSYG Note: - Playback was via the phone speaker (no bluetooth involved) - Could it be related to 0019747:0071025 ? (in the sense that setting the rating in Properties triggers inconsistent ratings between Properties and Playing > Art, so maybe subsequent edits in Playing > Art somehow triggers a fault) |

I'm not sure if this is the same bug or a regression due to some other fix, but in build 1075, editing the currently playing track often causes MM to completely lock up--it must be force terminated in order to resume using it. This can be replicated as follows: 1 Navigate to Music > Tracks 2 Tap '2002' by Anne Marie (that's an example of a track title) --> Track plays 3 Select the overflow menu for '2002' and then edit 'Properties' and change the Title to 20223 --> The operation appears to succeed 4 Swipe to the 'Queue' to see if the operation succeed 5 Swipe back to the Art and tap Properties --> A dialog appears indicating that the Properties are loading, but it stays endlessly 6 Cancel out of the Properties 'loading' dialog 7 Press 'Next' in the Player --> Nothing happens and the seek bar endlessly moves left to right Debug log: 1288FKZ39M Raising the priority since this is now occurring relatively easily. Note: it might be related to 0019950 (i.e. if the edit is performed before the queue is fully loaded). |

Today I observed similar crashes by mass editing ratings of tracks. e.g. 1 Navigate to Music > Ratings > 1-star 2 Select 15 tracks 3 Tap Properties and change the rating --> MMA freezes completely (the only way to proceed is to force terminate) Note that a user at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=104151 indicated that they similarly did a mass edit of ratings of 15 tracks and MMA editing _all_ tracks in the library. I'm unable to replicate this and it could be user error, but please investigate whether the error could in some way result in this occurring. |
