| Summary | 0019835: Send to Playlist always open playlist edit | ||||
| Description | When right click on tracks -> Send to -> Playlist it opens Playlist edit Column on the right side of Main Browser. Some users would like MM4 behavior where send to -> Playlist would just simply add track to selected playlist like in MM4 instead of needing closing of playlist edit. It was designed so that after adding to playlist user can easily change order of that playlist and easily Drag and drop files to it. EDIT (@Peke): a) (@Peke) I would suggest that behavior is a bit change and that playlist edit is auto closed unless user select added track within some time frame. User confirm that it woudl be enough and depends on time if user wants to change track orders it would only need to click on playlist to cancel auto focus and that would also retain current implementation (timeout of 5s should be enough) b) (@LowLander) Instead of Auto-Close there should be an option in the Options for this behavior. 0019835:0071223 c) (@Peke) Implement a) as short term and when we update translation strings implement b) also | ||||

Instead of Auto-Close there should be an option in the Options for this behavior. |

Isn't this just duplicate of 0017481 ? i.e. there is already sendToPlaylistInBackground addon, just needs to be submitted. |
