Summary | 0019972: Library Scan settings are overridden by Sync settings
Description | If the user configures MMA to not scan /Video (in the library folder settings), and then subsequently initiates a sync --> /Video is added back to the 'Library Folders' list --even if no files have been synced to /Video! Moreover if the user then deletes /Video from the sync profile, a new folder /MediaMonkey Storage is added created in the Library Folders. This is particularly annoying for: - Users who don't want that directory in their collection (e.g. private videos) - Anyone who doesn't want MMA to start checking for video thumbnails (though this'll be mostly resolved by 0019964

Yes, it is because the directory is included in the wifi sync. Paths are set on the MM5 side. Such directories cannot be removed as long as they are set on the MM5 side. We should probably distinguish such directories by e.g. the combined icon of the folder and media servers. A toast message would be displayed in case of an attempt to delete. |

Ideally, the sync location config in MMW would also appear in MMA--that way it could be unified with the Library Folders functionality. |
