I just tried pasting lyrics for Romeo and Juliet that come up directly in google search and they display correctly in MMA (whether I use 'Paste' or 'Paste as plain text'). Note that I pasted them to a random file in MMA. Peke, could it be that this issue specific to certain tracks or formats? What happens when you paste those same lyrics into a text editor? |
It doesn't matter what file I paste, I tried several more tracks and lyrics, looks like clipboard parser sometimes contain text without lines sometimes not. I can replicate in 7/30 times both pasting in MMA and text editor. I tested on 10 different track searches. |
So when the problem occurs, does pasting the text into a text editor result in the same issue (no carriage returns)? |
Yes, I tested bay pasting to MMA and Text editor at same time (0020069:0072136) to compare and when it happens text editor also have single line no CR. |
OK, so clearly this isn't an MMA bug, but rather a windows issue. Resolving. |
