Summary | 0020083: Esc deselects selected item in Filelisting
Description | When you use Esc (for example to close Context Menu) it deselects the item and instead make the Filelisting window the selected item. 1) In case of Esc on Context Menu the item should remain selected, but Context Menu still closes 2) In case an item is selected, it: a) Either still becomes deselected (allow for tabbing through window elements) as currently implemented b) Does nothing
Steps To Reproduce | 1 View a list of files or the Playlist panel 2a Select a file or Playlist 2b or Right click a file or Playlist 3 Use Esc --> File/Playlist is no longer selected item

Definitely should be fixed. Even though, technically the problem seems to be rather minor, as the selected track remains selected, it's only that the whole tracklist gets focus, instead of the single track. A workaround atm is to press Shift+Tab and then Tab, which returns focus to the same element. |

The real usecase for using Esc is to close the Context Menu after right click select in the Playlist/Folder panels to select an item without opening them. I doubt many users use Esc on a selected item in the Filelisting itself. The workaround is to use left-arrow instead of Esc for now. |

Verified 2810 Easier way to replicate in 2809 is to use Keyboard navigation, selection and context menu. All ok in 2810 |
