Summary | 0020110: Playing a Genre involves extra steps to 'Browse tracks' (regression 1090)
Description | In build 1090, if the user wants to play Music > Genre > Acoustic, they they can't immediately click 'Play all' or 'Play all (shuffled)'. Instead, they must go through the unintuitive 'Browse tracks' node, and then tap 'Play all' or 'Play all (shuffled). This is unintuitive because most users would not realize that they have to browse tracks in order to play them. And annoying because it involves an extra unnecessary step. Instead, it should work like other nodes which display the commands followed by the list of tracks (or artists).

Verified 1091. Note that there are still some related issues, but I'll track them in a new bug: 1) 'Play all' plays tracks in an order that doesn't match the order of the tracks 2) It would probably be better to list the tracks directly, and have a 'Browse Artists' node, but this can be implemented when we implement the 'browse tracks' function elsewhere. Leaving 'resolved' until I enter the new bug. |
