| Description | Based on my testing there is no difference between MMA and MM5 except these case on MM5 side: 1) bookmark is not stored if a track is playing less then 10 seconds from the beginning. 2) on NEXT action bookmark is not stored, but not cleared, if NEXT action is performed < 5 seconds before the end 3)and if NEXT action is performed between >5s and <10s before the end the bookmark is stored but 10s before the end. this is what I observed during testing, but I will discuss it with Ludek. on MMA side: 1) should be implemented; 2) and 3) not sure about this. I'll think about it later. | ||||

Whatever approach is taken, it needs resolve the issue described at 0018008:0072284 in which pressing 'continue' always continues from a bookmark in episode 1 instead of episode 2 and there's no way to to reset it. As described there, this can be replicated as follows: 1 play track 1 2 play almost to the end (move the seekbar towards the end to simulate) and then tap 'next' --> bookmark is set 3 continue listening to track 2 and press pause halfway through 4 tap 'Continue' --> Track 1 resumes playing!! No matter what I do (click 'next' to advance to the end, move the seekbar to the end), the bookmark doesn't reset and 'Continue' always continues from episode 1! I think that clearing the bookmark when the user clicks 'Next' or moves the seekbar to the end of a podcast episode, would solve this. |

Tested 1093 and 'Continue' still doesn't continue playback from the expected location: 1 Play episode 1, 2 of a podcast and tap 'Next' upon realizing that episode 2 has been heard --> Episode 3 starts playing 2 Tap Pause 3 Play some music 4 Navigate back to the Podacast and tap 'Continue' --> Episode 2 starts playing Note: the same occurs when the seekbar is used to move to the end of episode 2. There's no obvious way to reset the bookmark so that playback starts with episode 3. |
