Summary | 0020172: Seek to not work when streaming to Yamaha receiver
Description | Initially Ticket # 6045 user reported FLAC not capable to seek within track, but we found out in remote session that if MP3 track is not in library then even MP3 do not seek too. Here is full debug log. DBGView started before MM.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. D&D MP3 from Explorer -> Play 2. Try to seek -> Fail 3. Add MP3 track from Library -> Play 4. Try to Seek -> All OK 5. Add FLAC from library to Now playing -> Play 6. Try to seek -> Fail

Additional steps added by user, I also asked him to compress and attach log file. |

It seems because Yamaha sends incorrect value for track duration in PositionInfoResponse, I workarounded this in 2812. The fix to be confirmed by user from ticket # 6045 as I don't have this kind of receiver. |
|
User reported that it is not fixed in 2813 he provided new log in Ticket. |

Verified that MediaMonkey sends the same 'seek' command to the Yamaha receiver no matter whether it is MP3 or FLAC file, so it is surprising that it doesn't work for FLAC, sounds like Yamaha issue... |
