Summary | 0020309: # column can't be removed from Configure View
Description | When removing the # column from the Configure View dialog, it won't be removed and show as Displayed again after re-opening the dialog. Choose Columns and right click on column headers does remove the # column.
Steps To Reproduce | 1 Open Manage Views 2 Edit List (by Album) 3 Removed # from Displayed 4 OK dialogs --> # column still shows (if you also removed other columns they'll no longer show as expected) 5 Re-open Manage Views 6 Edit List (by Album) --> # column shows under Displayed

Raising the priority since based on the forum reports, this also appears to be a stability issue. From my perspective the column should not be removable in Playlist/Playing views since it is critical to those views, and the bug is that the UI allows it to be temporarily removed. |

ok, I like the idea to make '#' column non-removeable => Fixed in 5.0.1.2821 |

Verified that # is not removable from right click on Columns, Choose Columns and Manage Views. However I assume users would actually like to be able to remove this column as the forum complaint was about the inability to do so in Manage Views. |
