Summary | 0020656: Menu bar could switch to single button when window is too narrow
Description | I mentioned this in another report, but I think it should be considered independently. When the program is horizontally reduced, the tabs are shrinked to the useless width, just to keep the main menu fully displayed. I think in such case it would be better if the program temporarily switch to the single menu button (as is the case when you toggle off the Menu bar option in View menu), but when the program is enlarged again the menu bar should be restored (if it is not turned off in View menu). Just take a look at the screenshot how nicely it was done in VSCode: https://code.visualstudio.com/assets/updates/1_70/menu-bar-folding.gif
