Summary | 0020668: Scrollbars of disabled controls are active (now missing)
Description | Scrollbars of disabled listviews are active, and I suppose that other disabled controls having scrollbars like multi-line text boxes behave similarly. Which means, you could scroll a disabled listview, although that shouldn't happen. I made my skin to display scrollbars of disabled controls with a proper disabled color, but they are active anyway and that cannot be disabled in skin. Well, I could make scrollbars of disabled controls to disappear, but I don't want that. Standard Windows applications don't hide scrollbars of disabled controls. Maybe I am missing something?

Disabled listviews cannot be scrolled anymore, not even with mouse wheel. However, the thumbs and arrow buttons (in skins having them) are still active, i.e. thumbs are moveable and click on arrow buttons cause thumb to move. As I said, I could make them to disappear in my skin, but I don't want that. I want them displayed using disabled color, but not active. |

I told you I don't want scrollbars of disabled listviews to disappear, but you "fixed" it in 3027 doing just that. Standard Windows applications don't remove scrollbars of disabled controls. They should be visible even when disabled (inactive), at least to show you the size/position of its visible content. |
