Summary0021062: Album Artist node can include Artist albums/tracks
DescriptionWhen viewing the Album Artist node in Grid view the Artwork can include Album covers from the Artist value, but where Album Artist doesn't match (for instance for Album Artist = Bob Dylan, it might show Album Art from the album 'Rolling Stones Top 500' in which Album Artist = Various Artists just because 'Bob Dylan' is one of the Artists on that Album).

Nice to have: Artwork associated with an Album Artist would be from the album by that Album Artist with the highest average rating.

It seems that this issue isn't specific to the Grid view. i.e. when the user is in Music > Album Artists > AlbumArtistName, MM shows Albums and Tracks by Album Artist=AlbumArtistName and Artist=AlbumArtistName! Raising priority.

On further experimentation, the current behavior is puzzling. If there are 2 tracks:
- Track A, Artist=B, Album Artist=B, Album D
- Track B, Artist=B, Album Artist=C, Album E

Then:
1) Navigating to Entire Library > Album Artists > B --> Only track A is shown (as expected)
2) Subsequently navigating via hotlinks in the Preview window to the same node --> Both tracks A and B are shown--but the behaviour isn't consistent, so I suspect that this is a bug.

One a separate note, I couldn't find any rationale for why Album Artist nodes should contain both Album Artist=X OR Artist=X (i.e. as far as I can tell, it should always display only content for Album Artist=X). There's a possibly related comment 0018545:0069658, that may have resulted in such a misunderstanding, but I'm not sure (it reads as if it did lead to a misunderstanding in which Artist nodes are populated incorrectly, though I haven't tested this yet).

As noted by Rusty, this seems to be somewhat random. If I expand an album and click its Album Artist, it always leads to Music > Album Artists > [AA name], but the _content_ of the node differs:
1. Sometimes its Artist + Album Artist (e.g 16 Deep Purple albums in my case)
2. Sometimes its Album Artist only (10 Deep Purple Albums)

Verified 3037.

Important note (to be documented): FMFS Artist and the Preview link to Artist links to the Artists node and _not_ the Contributing Artists node. Considering that the Artists node represents Artists and Album Artists, this could be unexpected for some, but I still think that this is desirable/preferable in most cases.
