Summary | 0021199: Activating filter after contextual search --> crash A14ABF36
Description | Sometimes, activating a filter after initiating a search on a root node results in a crash. e.g. 1 Navigate to Entire Library [Grid] 2 Type 'lov' --> Search results appear 3 Using the dropdown, activate Advanced Search --> Results appear 4 Switch to Music [Browser view] 5 Type 'lov' --> Search results appear 6 Using the dropdown, activate Advanced Search --> Results appear and after a couple of seconds, a crash dialog appears for crashlog A14ABF36 --> After a couple of minutes, an Application Error dialog appears: "Uncaught Error: "_dataSourceOrig.filterBySearchPhrase is not a function" Note: - I'm not sure if this is related to the crash, but at step 3 and 6, about 10 status bars briefly open up indicating various items being loaded. - If I perform steps 1-3 (or 4-6) repeatedly, the bug doesn't occur. i.e. it seems to be related to switching between tabs/root nodes-views (i.e. only if steps 1-6 are performed) - Not sure if it's relevant, but there were 3 other tabs open with searches: "rating:4", "bleed", "artist: sun"

Fixed in 3052 |

Tested 3052 and the issue still occurs exactly as before, except the crashlog ID is different. Submitted crashlog A14AB3F2 EDIT: it's actually worse now--now when I reboot MM after the crash the filter persists (it can't be deleted)! |
