| Description | For both Virtual CD and Previews, the path shown is the path of the source file. Thus, when a user wants to delete a song in the Virtual CD or a Preview, it is unclear exactly what they are deleting. The user is afraid to delete because it appears that they're deleting the original material! This can be resolved by: -For virtual CD, add a new obligatory 'Source' column, and keep the path column (but refer to the actual path) -For previews, show the actual path rather than the source, in the path column. | ||||

I have never shown these paths, because I consider them to be just an internal thing. Your proposal could be useful, but I am afraid that it makes things unnecessary complicated. Maybe it would be enough to shown proper confirmation message after user presses delete. And, of course, it is always possible to remove previews and cached files in properties dialog of song/songs. |

I think that adding this column would actually clear things up--the VCD functionality is very difficult to understand, and this helps the user understand what is actually happening. |
