Summary | 0021220: WiFi Sync: Music video sync list tree (and possibly others) is incorrect regarding video
Description | Navigation to Sync > Server Content > Choose > Music Video > Artists > ArtistNameX displays a completely different set of items than Media Servers > Music Video > Artists > ArtistNameX The latter (Media Servers > Music Video > Artists > ArtistNameX) displays the same content that is displayed within the MMW tree. The former (Sync > Server Content > Choose > Music Video > Artists > ArtistNameX ) seems to display all content associated with ArtistNameX--even if a) it's not a music video and b) it's content that cannot be synced (e.g. YouTube content)! I haven't tested this with other Collections / nodes, but I suspect that if these two issues occur here, they likely occur for other Collections and nodes. Side Note: Syncing YouTube, or Radio Station 'content' to MMA doesn't result in any adverse issues in MMA. The content just doesn't sync.

Verified 3058. There's still a remaining issue (both for WiFi Sync and for DLNA) that if there are YouTube music videos for Artist:Beatles > Album:Help and no local tracks for that Artist or Album, then when browsing via both DLNA and via the Sync tree, MMA shows the hierarchy of Artist > Beatles > Help , even though there are no valid tracks in that hierarchy. I'll open a separate issue to track that (assuming it's fixable). |
