| Description | If the user initiates auto-tag for numerous tracks (with 'Allow compilations' disabled), MM consistently recommends compilation albums for some tracks even though non-compilation albums exist. 1 Rip a CD: The Beach Boys - Best of the Beach Boys 2 Navigate to \rips\The Beach Boys > All [List by album] (line 5900) 3 Select all tracks on the 'Best of the Beach Boys' album and initiate 'Auto-tag' (with 'Allow compilations' disabled) --> Lookups proceed and MM recommends compilation albums for: Surfer Girl (2:27), by the Beach Boys, Album: Golden Oldies Vol.20). Issue itself is fixed, but for some reason search engine on our MB server doesn't send mentioned 'Surfer Girl' album when searching for a track. EDIT: i've found that our MB server uses old search engine whereas MB webpage uses new one ... will update our search engine soon |

Doesn't seem fixed, for me Surfer Girl get's this compilation Album as result: https://musicbrainz.org/release/51ca8aaa-6dee-40aa-bc7c-a23e354e20de Unsure if this is due to above MB Server search engine? Tested with: "Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys" |

Yes, it's related to search engine because it returns only compilations for this track. |

As this issue is related to just single track (don't know any other case with same issue) we don't need to hurry with MB server update ... reducing priority and postponing to 5.1.1. |

This issue seems to occur on other albums as well. e.g. when looking up 'Carpenters: The Singles: 1969-1973' with 'allow compilations' disabled --> One track gets correctly looked up as part of the album 'A Song for You' (1972 - https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/1d47f2fc-cc62-3462-8c0d-d9259820953f ), but numerous others are attributed to Carpenters With the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2018 - https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/634be877-c15a-416f-9d24-c210c162321f ).
