| Description | Based on https://youtu.be/BRq9CP0GgQ8 / Ticket 7503 , in which Year metadata gets refilled on its own, it appears that there's a long-standing issue that MM applies the infer properties rules to tracks in the Folders node, possibly triggering issues such as those described in the ticket (in which deleted metadata spontaneously re-appears). This can be prevented by disabled 'Infer properties' but most users would probably want this feature for scanning new tracks, but not for the Folders view. Would it make sense to disable this function for tracks for the Folders node that aren't in the library (it already works correctly for library tracks)? | ||||
