This does not seem to be MM issue. Log shows, that your system unplugged audio device, that is why MM stopped playback. I tested the same settings and without problem. |

My external USB sound card (Focusrite DAC) got disconnected each time Windows Disable screen even I use High Profile power setting and USB Suspend setting is disabled so it should be not explicitly turned off for power save. It happened during MB chipset driver update. How to debug and resolve Playback stop issue: CASE 1 (Local Playback over USB sound Card): 1. Use Microsoft USBView to locate USB HUB where sound card is connected 2. In Device manager locate same HUB under Details -> Hardware ID 3. Go to power management 4. Disable Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power -> OK (to confirm changes) 5. Close all settings and restart Windows (Optional to see if setting is persistent) 6. Play in MM and see if music stops on screen off. (NOTE: this fixed it for me) CASE 2 (DLNA Playback over WiFi/LAN): 1. In Device manager under Network tree node locate WiFi/LAN Adapter 2. Go to power management 3. Disable Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power -> OK (to confirm changes) 4. Close all settings and restart Windows (Optional to see if setting is persistent) 5. Play music from MM server over DLNA and see if music stops on screen off. KB Article should be created with steps as a workaround for the issue. NOTE: As same issue can influence Sync/Not found if mm server PC turn screen off (but I can't confirm as I have desktop PC and that is common for laptops to use more strict power plans) and WiFi Adapter is put on Standby mode where device that wants access need to send WOL data Package (Wake On LAN data Package) in order to wake up PC and make it available again. |
