Summary	0021396: Make option to allow user to have Searhbar always expanded
Description	From time to time users wants to have Search Bar always visible/expanded and search Icon to have same behavior like in MM4. This should be made possible in MM Options.

rusty 2026-06-03 16:09 administrator ~0081347	If 'Always show search bar' is enabled then doing a contextual search hides the Global search bar and there's no means of initiating a Global search in the view! i.e. the user must cancel out the contextual search and only then can the Global search be initiated. In contrast, if the new option is disabled, and the user does a contextual search, then the user can click the [Global Search] icon to initiate a Global search. Possible solutions: - always show the Global Search bar if the option is enabled - for the above case, display the [Global search] icon
