Summary | 0021458: Some M4A files fail to be tagged by artwork
Description | User from [Ticket # 8721] attached M4A file ( 08-Hope.m4a ) that silently fails to be tagged by artwork. 1) Open MediaMonkey and drag&drop '08-Hope.m4a' into Playing 2) Right-click the file > Properties > Artwork 3) Lookup an image and store it to file tag => image is there (in MediaMonkey UI), but the file size is still 3.954.877 bytes (so the image silently failed to be written into file tag) 4) Restart MediaMonkey => image is gone!!

Fixed in build 3104. The problem was caused by empty cover tag already present in the affected files, MM could not update such incomplete tag. I adjusted our tagging plugin, so it could handle better this situation. |

Re-opened, you forgot to merge it from Trunk to 2024.1 SVN branch... |

Did not, changes were in separate Globals project. |
