Summary | 0021485: Upside Down Video Thumbnails
Description | On some system MM generates video thumbnails flipped - upside down. It is related to last versions of Windows 10 and 11 and on systems without installed codec packs, where thumbnail is generated using Media Foundation framework, not standard DirectShow.

Fixed in build 3107. MediaFoundation framework returns wrong image format in some cases, seems like bug in Windows or graphic drivers, tried one workaround. Please try, if possible, on different machines with different graphic cards (I had nVidia), on systems without active codec packs (i.e. no LAV Filter, MM5 Codec Pack, K-Lite Codec Pack, etc.). best test on some MKV/H264 file, but check also other formats. |

Verified 3107 I tested on 3 PCs (one was plain Vanilla Win 10 Intel GPU) and generated Thumbs on 6k+ tracks on each PC, Test Note Only that Vanilla Win 10 observed issue on 30/6000 files which was ok in 3107. Close on user confirmation. |
