Summary | 0021494: Audio CD playback: Drive spins down in some environments causing lag between tracks
Description | When playing an Audio CD this can happen with some drives: 1) Play 'Audio CD' and MediaMonkey buffers Track01, after say 30 seconds drive spins down 2) Once playback of Track01 ends drive spins up to buffer next track, but there is a gap caused by spinning 3) If user seeks near to the end of Track01 (say 15 seconds) then the transition is seamless as the drive is still spinning So the solution is to buffer the track more fluently (e.g. just 10 seconds in advance) and not the whole track
