| Summary | 0021571: Missing proxy settings cause not working scrobbling | ||||
| Description | Not sure why it was removed, but in case user is in network, where proxy is used, he/she cannot used Last.FM scrobbling easily. Requests are sent through our app.utils.web.requestAsync function and in such environment it is needed to have proxy settings correctly set, so they can be used during http requests. User has to set it in MM4 now and then copy proxy settings from MM4 ini to MM5 ini file manually... I think the same problem could occur also elsewhere, whenever we fetch something from internet in environments, where manually set proxy is needed. | ||||

The Proxy settings has never been in MM5 (only in MM4) and apparently isn't used much as there haven't been complaints until now.. Nevertheless Proxy can be still configured in MediaMonkey.ini so it is rather about adding KB article for Proxy configuration in MM.ini Assigned to LowLander to create this KB... |

There was also bug, that proxy settings were not added to http requests never in this case, fixed in build 3152. |
