| Description | 1) Lyrics element currently only displays Synced lyrics. It should either: a) Be renamed to 'Synced lyrics' b) Remain named as 'Lyrics' but display Synced lyrics preferentially, and regular Lyrics if they're absent. This can be achieved via a Tab/Link at the top of the lyrics allowing the user to switch between the two. I prefer this approach since the alternative requiress displaying Lyrics in the Preview element and Synced lyrics in the 'Lyrics' element, resulting in duplication. On the other hand, the Preview window is often used to display 'Selected' track's metadata, which isn't supported by the Lyrics window. Thoughts about which approach is better? 2) Lyrics element title often truncates text. The Lyrics element appears as 'Lyrics (ArtistName - Title)' which is usually truncated when it's placed in the right or left columns. Considering that the lyrics display the _playing_ lyrics, and the metadata associated with the playing track appears in the player (and likely in the Preview window), there's no need to display it in the titlebar (we could display it at the top of the textbox, but I'm not even sure if that's necessary). 3) There's no ability to edit the lyrics The most trivial fix would be to display a vertical ellipsis on the left side with a shortcut to Properties that would open Properties {Lyrics]} 4) The Undock button isn't correctly vertically aligned (tracked at 0022113 with other rendering issues) Summary of how the element should appear: Implementation 1a) : Synced lyrics . .
