Summary	0022311: DB backup compressing can take a long time (add an option and move to background task)
Description	Currently on large databases (2GB and more) the compressing part during backup can take a minute and MM is not usable during that time.. We could add an option whether to compress (or not) and then move compress part to a background task to not block MM usage..

lowlander 2026-09-04 15:43 developer ~0082049	If running compression as a background task isn't feasible, it would be great if the backup can be cancelled. This is particularly useful during auto-backup run at startup, as it delays the user from being able to use MediaMonkey.
