| Summary | 0022537: Slider control should have a property to show left/right (up/down) buttons | ||||
| Description | The slider control is fine when user wants to quickly change some numerical value, but it is rough and not quite precise, especially if it has many allowed steps between minimum and maximum. The user could use the left and right keyboard buttons to tune its value, but some users don't like using keyboard. Besides, to be able to use these keyboard buttons, user should give a keyboard focus to the slider, which could move the position of its thumb if it is done by a mouse, i.e. it could change its value unintentionally. It would be nice if the slider control has a property for displaying left/right buttons on its sides for horizontal sliders, i.e. up/down buttons for vertical sliders. A single click on such button is much better for a fine control of the value than trying the same by dragging a thumb with mouse. Script developers could use such enhanced control in their scripts, but you could also add the mentioned buttons it in the Options dialog wherever you have sliders, e.g. on the Player page. | ||||
