| Description | The was a request from a user during usage testing, who felt that it would be helpful to have autocomplete for commonly used fields (Artist, Album, Genre). At the same time, a combobox could also be made available if the user doesn't want to type. Note: this must be a configurable option (since it might annoy some users with really large collections). | ||||

In addition when we implement this feature, it would be useful if it were implemented in the same manner that Quicken does auto-complete. i.e. when the user starts typing, the dropdown opens to the section containing the partially (or fully) completed text. This provides a little bit of extra context for the user. |
