Summary | 0002520: Regression: iPod metadata (ratings/playhistory) fails to synch bi-directionally for manually synched tracks
Description | As discussed over IM, 5.2.3 added more complex synchronization that caused changes to play history or ratings on the iPod to not synch back to the MM library. Bug report from user follows: > I have a Lifetime license and I just downloaded the upgrade to > 2.5.3.968 and when I connected my iPod and viewed the tracks it did > not update the play count or ratings in my Media Monkey library. Is > there some new procedure to manually "upload" the changes back to > Media Monkey? Before as soon as I would click on the "Titles" on the > iPod it would display them all and it would have "Writing tags" in the > status bar. Now it has nothing. Thanks! > -nick lavley
Additional Information | Example of manually synched tracks not being 'recognized' by MM: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21406

Note: a similar issue is that resynching a list of tracks that have already been manually synched results in all of the tracks being resynched causing duplicates to appear on the device. MM should 'know' what tracks have been synched whether they're auto-synced or synced manually |

Fixed in build 1092. - MM now knows about manually synchronized tracks to device. |
