Summary | 0002589: Slashes are handled incorrectly when Album Art is saved and for Auto-Organize
Description | There are 2 cases (that were reported) in which operations on fields that contain a '/' are done incorrectly: 1) If an Album contains slashes and Album Art is saved (eg via Auto-Tag from Amazon) then it is saved to subdirectory of the intended location. 2) If Auto-Organize performs operations on fields containing a '/' then the slash causes files to be placed in a subdirectory of the intended location.
Steps To Reproduce | More detail in the report at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10522 and http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11292

Are you able to reproduce it? I reviewed sources and both cases should work fine. The only case I can imagine this would happen is when user deletes filename mappings from MM.ini file. I'd suggest to implement filename mapping configuration in Options dialog so that users could always update this feature according to their needs. |
