Summary | 0002632: MediaMonkey / Winamp Integration issues
Description | There are still a couple of issues related to winamp integration that need to be resolved: 1) Limitation (high): User can't delete or move tracks in the Now Playing list 2) Bug (high): The Player Status indicator in the toolbar displays <Artist>-<Title> however the width of this indicator isn't wide enough to accomodate many tracks. I would recommend that if the Winamp Engine is used, theres no reason why the MediaMonkey Player interface cannot be used to display status and control Winamp. 3) Bug (high): The Volume Control accessible via the System tray has no effect! 4) Bug (high): When the user switches back from Winamp mode to MM mode, the Now Playing dialog is missing. 5) Bug (urgent): If the user clicks 'Properties' for any track in the Now Playing list, the '<' and '>' arrows do not function. 6) Bug (urgent): There are several cases in which the Winamp playlist is used instead of the MediaMonkey playlist: a) In the system tray, the Now Playing entry shows the MediaMonkey playlist instead of the Winamp playlist. b) If the user clicks 'View > Properties', the properties shown are those of tracks on the MediaMonkey playlist instead of the Winamp playlist. Note: my guess is that item 6 is related to the report at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10926
