Summary | 0002742: Add support for Audible books
Description | Several products (like e.g. iTunes or J.River MC) supports Audible audiobooks. We should check out whether we can license the code for their handling, it would make our support for iPod mode complete and could possibly also mean some revenue stream.

Assigning to Rusty to contact Audible and setting to Immediate so that actions are made quickly so that it could be in MM 3.0. |

If you mean the files with .AA file extensions (from www.audible.com) I noticed something about that commented out in f_aac.dll, so it is possible that we could play them via QuickTime? Do you have a sample AA file to test? |
|
Another request in BCX-158-52674 Michal, could you check whether f_aac.dll is able to play it using QuickTime? Or do we already have another codec that can play *.aa files? |
|
No, QuickTime do not recognize AA files. |
