Summary | 0002759: Tagging MP3 with Album Art causes it to become unplayable
Description | A user sent me a file that when it is tagged with Album Art by MediaMonkey, becomes unplayable in MediaMonkey. To reproduce: Play the track --> it plays successfully Edit properties of '01 - E de Amargar.mp3' Add front.jpg album art to the tag Try playing the track --> it no longer plays!! Note: I tried adding the album art in question to other MP3 files without a problem, so I'm guessing it's something specific about the MP3 file, but what? and can we do anything to prevent this? Note: file is saved to the ftp server

Per discussion with Jiri this is caused by our current MP3 plugins which rely on windows. The temporary workaround is to use in_mpg123.dll, but this issue should be fixed for the 3.0 release. |

Fixed in build 1013. - ID3v2 is now virtually removed from tracks to be played and so it does no longer cause problems to WM layer. |
