Summary | 0002787: Plugging in a second iPod when one is already plugged in causes iPod to register with WMDM plugin
Description | If a user has plugged in an iPod (#1) --> MediaMonkey recognizes it If user plugs in a second iPod (#2) while #1 is still plugged in --> #2 appears as a WMDM device. This is bad because then subsequent attempts to use iPod #2 fail because MM synchs the device as if it were a USB MS device using the wmdm plugin. Note: when we fix this issue, would it also be possible to make the iPod plugin able to have multiple iPods connected at once?

Report of crash with a similar iDevice pair: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=57640&p=297284#p296421 |

This seems to be fixed in MM4. Users reported no crashes, and I've tested with multiple iOS devices, WMDM devices, plus iPod devices, without a crash. The only remaining issue is the lack of support for > 1 iOS device connected at a time. |
