Summary | 0003023: Album Artist should not automatically equal Artist if > 1 Artist is used
Description | MM's current behaviour of automatically assigning Album Artist values based on Artist values in cases where Album Artist=Artist to begin with usually makes sense except in cases where: 1) > 1 Artist is being used 2) some tracks on the Album already have Artist/Album Artist fields that aren't identical with each other

Just to make sure: Do you mean situations when user edits properties (Properties dialog or in-place) or also other situations, like scanning of new files or so? |

The suggestion would seem to make sense in both cases, but I thought that MM currently only 'infers' an Album Artist if all the tracks in an Album have the same Artist. Is that not the case? |
