Summary | 0003260: Empty Year field appears with Garbled data for some OGG tracks
Description | This was reported by ZvesdanD: Some OGG tracks that have a year field that is supposedly empty, display meaningless information in the date field. Sample file is posted to the ftp server. For the sample file: -on my machine, the date appears as: 9/6728 -on ZvesdanD's machine it appears as: 9.6728 (probably just a regional setting) -on Winamp: nothing appears in the date field -on Foobar: nothing appears in the date field According to Zvesdan, Winamp was used to tag the track in question, but nothing was entered. More comments from Zvesdan: BTW, there is a serious problem with OGG Year field when data is empty, even when you don't see anything inside a tracks table and properties dialog of such song. Because of that, Magic Nodes script incorrectly displays Year information for such files. For example, if OGG file has entered Year tag, there is a data in database, let say, 19870000, but if this tag is empty, there is a some meaningless data, let say 129513. As I wrote, MP3 files don't have this problem. Also, MM 2 has not this problem.
