Summary	0003368: Make DB queries faster
Description	Technical: Currently in MM 3.0 all queries to Songs table use SELECT DISTINCT, which was needed in some cases. However, I found out that it slows down the queries significantly (about a factor of 2). Since DISTINCT isn't definitely needed in most cases, it should be removed. It isn't needed for ordinary nodes, I guess that the main reason was using it for Search node, but even there it probably isn't necessary in all cases, maybe the queries can be constructed so that it won't be necessary at all?

Ludek 2007-08-11 10:32 developer ~0010103	Fixed in build 1059. The DISTINCTs were removed from main DB query (creating of common SELECT part) because the DISTINCT was presented only due to bug 2936 that was fixed another way without using a DISTINCT.
