Summary | 0003562: When automatically updating podcasts there should not be any error dialogs presented. | ||||
Description | Reported at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20577, and http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20505 The users have complained that when Podcasts are in the update process there are sometimes an error dialogs shown (e.g. when internet connection is interrupted) which need user interaction. I resolved it in build 1073. Used solution: If the updating process is launched through 'Update All Podcasts' command (which is also used in case of automatically checking) then no errors are shown. Errors are shown only in case of an individual podcast's updating (started through the single 'Update podcast' command) |

Closing, although this sounds like a hack. i.e. Errors _should_ be reported on any failure, however, they shouldn't interfere with whatever operation the user is pursuing. This is discussed in issue 0000051. |
