Summary | 0003632: License Registration: New warning for users entering 2.x key in MM 3+
Description | I've been getting some queries from users who try to use their 2.x license in MM 3.x and don't understand why it doesn't work. If users download MM 3.x without seeing any of the messaging described in #2922, they need to get a warning about the fact that their 2.x license is invalid. a) On the About dialog in the 'License' textbox: Standard Edition (old v<old> license isn't valid for v<new>) note: <old> = 2.x; <new> = 3.x b) After the user enters the 2.x license in the registration dialog: The code you entered is invalid (old v<old> license isn't valid for v<new>). [Upgrade] [OK] [Upgrade] button would link to http://register.mediamonkey.com note: there's currently a string "The code you entered is invalid. Please try again."
