Summary | 0003650: Automatically choose album-folder when adding cover-artwork (regression)
Description | Probably this issue is already mentioned somewhere in Mantis, because I read such posts on WhishList / testing forums many times before. I'm entering it because I also think that this would be very helpful: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21032 and the question: "Would it be possible to include the option of automatically opening the album's folder (or whatever your favourite folder to save your cover-artwork to is) when adding cover-artwork?"

Assigning to Rusty to review importancy. |

Raised priority due to the frequency with which this item appears (though I could swear that I already entered a bug for this even though I can't find one). What should happen is that when adding album art (via Properties > Album Art or via Album Art window) by pressing 'Add', MM opens the file browser to the folder containing the track. note: if the user wants to browse to a common directory, it should be much easier to do so via the Track browser. Setting to immediate just because I think this is trivial to implement. Push back if it isn't. |

Fixed in build 1092. |

Verified 1094. |

Build 1101 has a regression of this functionality. |
|
Yes, it doesn't seem to be a regression, but rather problem described here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22408 |
|
I fixed it by using a little hack (of reinit the covers dialog) in build 1104. |

Verified 1104. |
