Summary | 0003727: iPod Sync: Rating tracks on device --> Album Art gets mixed up
Description | I'm consistently able to reproduce this problem: 1) Auto-Sync small playlist to the device. Observe that the tracks display correctly. 2) Add a second set of tracks (e.g. an Album) to the auto-sync list and sync. 3) Play the tracks from 2) and rate them as they're being played. 4) Auto-sync. 5) Perform steps 3 and 4 a couple of times. 6) Examine the album art on the iPod --->Some of the tracks that previously had correct artwork now have artwork mixed up!

I suppose that you don't have any other application that could access iPod running (iTunes, WinAmp, ...). Useful for debugging would be to insert a step: 3.5) Connect iPod without MM (or any other iPod application) running and save entire iPod_Control\Artwork folder , iPod_Control\iTunes\iTunesDB file and iPod_Control\iTunes\Play Counts file somewhere (in a versioned manner, so that I could review the whole history). |

I've been trying to replicate this all morning but can't :( |
