Summary | 0003849: Background auto-organize: unclear that File Monitor is needed for it to function as a background task
Description | At the moment, when the user enables: 'Automatically organize tracks in the background' it causes MM to organize tracks whenever: -tracks matching the rule are scanned -tracks matching the rule are edited BUT it doesn't actually organize tracks in the background UNLESS the tracks happen to be in a Monitored folder. Thus users will think that their collection is going to be automatically organized but it won't! To fix this, we can: Change the text to 'Automatically Organize Tracks (during scans or edits)' Change Context Help to: Organize library Tracks based on the above rules whenever Tracks are scanned or edited. To fully automate, configure the File Monitor to scan directories in the background.
